Handicraft of Klungkung Regency : For those who are interested in traditional music, Tiingan Village is the right place to visit. The village is located 3 Km, west of Semarapura Town. Here, you can see how the gamelan instruments are traditionally made. A variety of materials are used in the production of instruments. Most gamelan consist of bronze keys in carved wooden frames suspended over bamboo resonators, together with a number of bronze gongs, drums, cymbals, flutes and an assortment of smaller percussion instruments. For Balinese, music is a culture. There is a fundamental integration of the perfuming arts into daily social and religious activities. No celebration or gathering is completed without music or dance. The musical organization is usually rooted in Banjar (the smallest formal social group). |

Budaga handicraft of Brassware : Budaga is a village, which located in the west part of semarapura town. Various kind of Brass ware are produced here for ritual needs or are served as souvenirs. A very unique good but highly interesting is made now. It is called "Dreaming Ball". When it is shaken, it will produce a melodious ringing. Please come to Budaga village to see it. |

Kamasan Village :This village is located 3 Km, south of Semarapura Town. Kamasan is very famous for its handicrafts which are made of silver, gold, bullet-shell. Most of the silver handicrafts are designed for ceremonial activities, but they are also very nice to be used as souvenirs with reasonable prices. The most interesting handicraft from the village is the bullet-shell carving. They made a various kind of style using bullet-sell.
