Here are some ideas to get Nusa Penida by boats


From Padang Bay:

Be there early and register on the beach front east of the main pier. Boats leave from 7 am until 9 am. It takes 90 minutes to get Nusa Penida by boat, and it is now usually possible to take a boat back in the same day.

From Kusamba    :

Catch a small jukung from the beach, 100 m from Kusamba market. When local traders book all the boats, it will be difficult to sail from here.

From Sanur          :

Boats seating 15-30 leave front the beach at the end of Jalan Raya Sanur, next to the Grand Bali Beach Hotel, and take an hour to get Jungut Batu in Nusa Lambongan. Departure : 7-8 am.

From Benoa         :

Joint a day-trip tour on a yacht. fares are depend on the condition of the vessel and facilities.


Transportation in Nusa Penida

In Nusa Penida, You usually arrive at Toya Pakeh. Bemo is the main transportation to Sampalan terminal where you can then charter another Bemo for the island tour. Bargaining price will be a good idea. It is possible to take a Public Jukung to/from Jungut Batu on Nusa Lembongan. Again bargaining is the best way. Another way, hire a trail bike from Jungut Batu for a tour in the island. At the moment, there is a bridge to get to Ceningan Island. In a land tide, you can olso get it on foot. Bird-watcher should check out the cliffs there.

  

Accomodation in Nusa Penida

In Nusa Penida, there are several beach-front losmen with restaurants. There are about 50 rooms and bungalows on Nusa Lembongan, mostly on the northern beach area near Jungut Batu. Two are located in the village itself, and there are three bungalow businesses on the bluffs between the village.
